Checkerberry Hill is an independent design enterprise which specializes in custom work for weddings and special events.

Olga Markiw is the sole proprietor and designer of Checkerberry Hill, delighting her customers with her designs since 1985. Coming from multiple generations of growers she often incorporates elements from her own gardens as well as purchased flowers from local wholesale houses and growers. Customers in southern Vermont and New England may recognize the Checkerberry Hill label from hand tied wreaths and centerpieces sold throughout the region by local businesses for well over three decades.

Olga has worked with a multitude of designers in private as well as retail settings over her lifetime. She had the good fortune to live in London, England for several years experiencing European design first hand. All of these influences are reflected in her work, giving you a customized one of a kind event.
